Homemade flavor
The seasoning, the frying, the sauces — done our own way, the way family taught us. Authentic, not shortcut.
El Buen Sabor is a Honduran food truck in northwest Houston. We cook the plates we grew up with — pollo con tajadas, baleadas, pupusas — the homemade way, fresh for every order.
Everything starts in the kitchen, not on a shelf. We season, fry, and plate to order so each dish tastes like it came from a Honduran home — because that is exactly where the recipes came from.
Our signature is pollo con tajadas: fried chicken over fried green-plantain slices, with cabbage salad and our sauces. It is the plate our neighbors come back for.
Alongside it we make baleadas and pupusas — the everyday plates that feel like home for the Honduran and Latin community along the Veterans Memorial corridor.

A 100/100 Houston health score is not luck. It is how we run the truck every single day.
