I spent 12 years in and out of prison. I didn't believe God could use someone like me. At the Houston conference, everything changed. For the first time, I felt like God was speaking directly to me. I gave my life to Christ that night, and I haven't looked back. KMG walked with me through re-entry, got me into a discipleship group, and now I'm mentoring other men coming out of the system.
My marriage was on life support. My wife and I could barely be in the same room. A friend invited me to a KMG men's retreat, and God broke me down and built me back up. The accountability brothers I found there taught me how to be the husband and father my family needed. Two years later, our marriage is stronger than it's ever been.
I was drowning in addiction—alcohol, pills, anything to numb the pain. The prayer team at KMG prayed over me at a revival night in Atlanta. I can't explain it, but something shifted in my spirit that evening. They connected me with a local church and a recovery group. I've been sober for 18 months now. God used this ministry to save my life.
As a pastor of a small church in Charlotte, I was burned out and ready to quit. I attended the Breakthrough Conference not knowing if I had anything left. God used KMG to reignite my calling.
